Golf Lessons
The Centre includes a 16 bay floodlit covered driving range (2 bays outdoors), fully stocked pro-shop, licensed bar and restaurant which is open to the public, changing rooms and clubs for hire. Professional golf lessons are available for all ages and levels of players. Ours is the ideal venue which suits all standards of player. Our recently extended clubhouse now has a bigger function room area available for private hire as well as a new and much enlarged 2-tier patio area – both featuring even more incredible views across the Exe Estuary and course than before!
Driving Range
Exminster Golf Centre is the ideal venue for a relaxing golf day, located within 5 minutes drive of Exeter and the M5 junction 30 (see map). Relax and enjoy a day to remember. Practice on our floodlit driving range.
Our superb course and excellent facilities, including clubhouse bar and restaurant, will leave a lasting impression with all players.
Exminster Golf Centre facilities are currently operating the following opening hours –
Floodlit Driving Range: open 8am-9pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am-6pm (Sat-Sun)
- Golf Course : open 8am-9pm (Mon-Fri) 8am – 6pm -Last tee off 4.30 at weekends.
- Pro-Shop : open 7:45am-8:30pm (Mon-Fri) and 7:45am-6pm (Sat-Sun)
- Lounge/Bar (open to all) : open 8am-9pm (Mon & Tues) 8 am – 10pm (Wed- Fri) and 8am-6pm (Sat-Sun) (alcohol sales from 10am each day)
- Restaurant/Food (open to all) : open 9am-2:30pm (Mon-Sun) Evening Dinner served 6pm-9pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CENTRE MAY CLOSE EARLY AT QUIET TIMES
Charcombes Lounge has a license which permits it to be open until midnight Sunday to Thursday and until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays, for the sale of alcohol and dancing – this makes us the perfect place for a private party (e.g. birthday, anniversary, engagement, wedding etc).

9 Hole Pay and Play Golf Course
Exminster Golf Centre, one of Exeter’s most exciting 18 tee, 9 hole, pay and play golf courses, has been designed with the help of a former English champion with the aim of making the course challenging for new and experienced golfers alike. The majority of the course enjoys stunning views of the Exe Estuary.

Covered Driving Range
Our 16 bay floodlit covered driving range (2 bays are not covered) provides the ideal location to improve your game, whatever the weather! That, coupled with the fact that we use real golf balls, makes this the perfect place to come and practise.
The near 300 yard floodlit range will be long enough to contain most players although with some of the latest drivers available in James Taverner’s Golf Store you never know! Floodlights operate in the evenings to allow you to enjoy the facilities of our driving range after work.
The cost of 50 balls is £5, with discounts available through the use of multi-credit Digicards. 250 ball digicard £22, 500 ball digicard £42.00 and 1000 ball digicard £84.00.
